Is Rev. Sun Myung Moon the Second Avatar?

AVATAR takes us to a spectacular new world beyond our imagination, where a reluctant hero embarks on a journey of redemption. Yet the word "Avatar" is actually a Hindu term. Avatar refers to the Religious term in Hinduism, the reincarnation, manifestation or appearance of a deity. In accordance with the prophecies a true man will appear to unify humanity and put end of all evil and unrighteousness. In Buddhism this is referred as the arrival of the Golden Age; in Christianity as the coming of God's Kingdom.

Avatar - the 3D movie hit, is based on Messianic hope. Avatar - a man unifying and leading all Na'vi tribes in the last battle between good and evil.



The scriptures of all religions foretell the birth of Messianic person who will change the world. He is being called Messiah, Mahdi, Maitreya Buddha, Kalki Avatar. He will be born in the East. Jesus, Buddha, Confucius, Mohamed and all religious founders will personally give him the mission to save the world. He will unite all religions and win the last battle against evil, raising the Golden Age of Goodness, Peace and Awareness.

In Hinduism, Avatar is the descent of a deity (an incarnation of a deva (god) from heaven to earth, or a descent of the Supreme Being (i.e., Vishnu for Vaishnavites) and is mostly translated into English as "incarnation", but more accurately as "appearance" or "manifestation". This new Avatar will unite religions and humanity and lead us into the Age of Peace. After passing through persecution and misunderstanding we will recognize him for he will be the foremost philosopher and leader of this unification. And the truth is that he have already arrived.

It will take time to promote an interreligious concept throughout the world. We have to work tirelessly... to achieve this anticipated need. Rev. Sun Myung Moon is the foremost philosopher and leader in this respect. I am glad to support his efforts for this endeavor.

KALKI AVATAR
Surely you have heard about Krishna. Rama was another one. And many others. Those are all avatars of the past.

There is one more avatar to come - a last avatar. Kalki avatar - who will come to end the present age of darkness and destruction known as Kali Yuga. The name Kalki is often a metaphor for eternity or time. The origins of the name probably lie in the Sanskrit word "kalka" which refers to mud, dirt, filth, or foulness and hence denotes the "destroyer of foulness," "destroyer of confusion," "destroyer of darkness," or "annihilator of ignorance. Simply saying some man sent by God to win the last battle between good and evil. When? Have you heared about 2012? Shree Veera Brahmendra Maha Swami, writing about 1,000 years ago in "Divya Maha Kala Jnana" (literally: "Divine Knowledge of the Time") claims that Kalki would arrive when the Moon, Sun, Venus and Jupiter have entered the same sign; such occurrences are not rare and the next is expected in the year 2012 or afterwards. Actually most Hindu sources (e.g. Devi Bhagavatam) predict beginning of 2013 (e.g. February 21st, 2013) as a beginning of Satya Yuga (New Age, Golden Age). It closely corresponds with the date of December 21st, 2012, which the ancient Maya
Ancient Maya and Hindu were not the only traditions predicting so called end times. Actually all major religions of world are waiting for New Age - ideal world, world of peace, Kingdom of Heaven. Whats more a mystery - all of them are waiting for their last avatar, believed to be the Earth's final day. Although separated by two months, these two dates probably point to the same momentous and epochal event.

I sincerely appreciate Dr. Moon’s investment in the religious communities of the world to elicit their cooperation for the common purpose of world peace. It is only on the foundation of so much generosity on his part in providing opportunities for the different religious communities to consistently work together that we finally became enlightened about the true perspective of religions working together as one for peace.

MAITREYA BUDDHA
Maitreya Buddha ... is a future Buddha of this world in Buddhist eschatology.... Maitreya is a bodhisattva who in the Buddhist tradition is to appear on Earth, achieve complete enlightenment, and teach the pure dharma.

According to scriptures, Maitreya will be a successor of the historic Śākyamuni Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. The prophecy of the arrival of Maitreya references a time when Dharma will be forgotten on Jambudvipa. It is found in the canonical literature of all Buddhist sects (Theravāda, Mahāyāna, Vajrayāna), and is accepted by most Buddhists (wikipedia)

Mahdi ... is the prophesied redeemer of Islam who will stay on Earth for seven, nine or nineteen years (according to various interpretations)^[1] before the Day of Judgment (yawm al-qiyamah / literally, the Day of Resurrection)^[2] and, alongside Jesus, will rid the world of wrongdoing, injustice and tyranny. Without Father Moon’s message we are in danger of becoming a world that is an insane asylum with the inmates in charge. I thank God for this movement because it is the answer to the most critical problems confronting the world today.

BIRTH OF SINLESS CHILD
A child will be born to a woman as a ordinary child in the time of last days (just like Jesus in the last days of old testament). From his childhood he will be attacked by evil forces. But God will protect him. But again, he will be rejected by Christians (stars; Gen. 37:9-10) and will not find faith in Him. And he will be victorious (he will overcome).

A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. After that he will become another Adam (like Jesus) eating from the Tree of life. He will become Word of God (just like Jesus). He will rule the whole world as King of kings for ever. Therefore he is called Second coming of Christ, because he will fully resemble Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. But it will be not Jesus alone, but new "Son of God" in the last days of new testament, with new name, elevated by Jesus on the same authority. A new messiah, Mahdi, Maitreya, Kalki Avatar.

When I was a student preparing for the rabbinate at the Jewish Theological Seminary, it would have been impossible to imagine that Rev. Moon could have had such a profound effect on me. When I first met Rev. Moon, I already had an established reputation as a theologian and an historian of religion whose works had been translated into a number of foreign languages. My views on theology were and remain very different than his. Rev. Moon always treated me with sophisticated understanding and very great courtesy.

Naturally, I was most curious about Rev. Moon. It was clear to me that he is a man of extraordinary spiritual charisma and that, he is the commanding presence in any gathering at which he is present. ... We are not accustomed to such a manifestation of spiritual power and charisma. Our scientific and professional training has not prepared us for the encounter. Hence, we guard ourselves against it by inventing psychological categories to neutralize its potency and our discomfort before it. Nevertheless, the spiritual power is there, and, whatever may be the religious tradition in which we are rooted, we feel it.

As far as I know, God is not sectarian. He is not obsessed with minor details of doctrine. We should quickly liberate ourselves from theological conflict which results from blind attachment to doctrines and rituals, and instead focus on living communication with God. I think we urgently need to purify the religious atmosphere into one in which believers can have living faith and every soul can communicate with God.

In God’s parental heart and His great love, there is no discrimination based on color or nationality. There are no barriers between East and West, North and South. Today God is trying to embrace the whole of humankind as His children. Through inter-religious dialogue and harmony we should realize one ideal world of peace, which is God’s purpose of creation and the common ideal of humankind.
